Spice Mix Workshop

Fresh spices and herbs in bowls, being ground in a kitchen

A session led by the kitchen crew about cooking with herbs and spices - ones connected to personal food experiences, culture and childhood.

Participants will be invited to make either their own mix of spices or one of the Headway blends. We’ll then make up jars or pouches for people to take away with them along with a card with a Headway recipe.  Workshop participants are invited to share their food memories, culture and recipes.

Allergy statement: The following allergens will be used throughout this workshop: sesame, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, allspice, thyme, black pepper, chilli powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, paprika, brown sugar, coriander, cumin, fennel and oregano.
