Preview: Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (PG) + ScreenTalk with director Sam Fell

New Release ScreenTalk

A family of chickens stand together for a family portrait.

Ginger, Rocky and the gang are back in this hilarious sequel to the hit Aardman Animation, Chicken Run (2000).

Having pulled off an escape from Tweedy’s farm, Ginger (Thandiwe Newton) and the flock find a peaceful sanctuary, far from the dangers of the human world. When she and Rocky (Zachary Levi) hatch little Molly (Bella Ramsey), Ginger’s happy ending seems complete, but back on the mainland, the whole of chicken-kind faces a new and terrible threat.

The teams at Aardman Animation and Netflix Animation bring this glorious stop-motion sequel to life, as we return to all our favourite characters. From Bunty (Imelda Staunton) and Babs (Jane Horrocks) to Fowler (David Bradley) and Fetcher (Daniel Mays), it’s such a pleasure to be back in the company of old friends, but we just might meet some new ones too…

We are delighted to have director Sam Fell in conversation with Barbican Cinema Curator Sonia Zadurian after this exciting preview screening.
