Adrian Wootton Presents… Sergio Leone & Once Upon a Time in the West (15) (4k Restoration)

Two cowboys stand in the desert facing the same direction.

Adrian Wootton, CEO of Film London and Italian film aficionado explores the legacy of filmmaking genius Sérgio Leone and the making of his masterpiece Once Upon A Time In the West.

With Once Upon a Time in The West Sérgio Leone built on the his three ‘dollar’ Spaghetti Western titles, completed his revolution of the genre, cemented his reputation as one of the great Italian Filmmakers and made a timeless classic in the process;  shown here in a brilliant new digital restoration.

A mysterious stranger with a harmonica joins forces with a notorious desperado to protect a beautiful widow from a ruthless assassin working for the railroad, in this beautifully shot 60s western. There’s a breath-taking score by legendary composer Ennio Morricone and powerful performances by Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson and Claudia Cardinale.

This unmissable classic has now been lovingly restored in glorious 4K and positively begs to be seen on the big screen.
