With a sound that may be bad for your teeth but insanely good for your ears, North West London Multidisciplinary and experimental artist Kookie Blu isn’t stepping into a lane, she’s forming one all her own.

Jazz is currently studying Fine art at Manchester School of Art. She is also a circus teacher and performer which feeds in and out of her practise. Fascinated with playfulness and nonverbal performance she explores the realms of performance through cabarets, street performance and in recent times online livestreams.

Her performance is an invitation into the world of a clown in quarantine, who finds friends in their own mind and body. She plays with the ideas of isolation; that she is trapped within the four walls of the screen, in a box, yet she can see you all watching her. Jazz has begun to develop this piece in response to the current situation, playing with themes of isolation and surrealism.

Jess is a writer and performer who works across poetry, theatre, and live art. They are co-parent of Clumsy Bodies - a trans performance duo. Jess is a Starting Blocks artist with Camden People’s Theatre and DIY artist with LADA and The Sick of the Fringe. Previously they have been part of Soho Writers’ Lab, Barbican Young Poets, Roundhouse Poetry Collective, and the Writing Room.

Clapham Common is a multimedia performance that uses poetry, dance, and google maps to look at the politics of public space on Clapham Common. Jess dances to verbatim posts from Clapham community forums, archival footage, and zumba classes on the Common, to explore the tension between Clapham Common’s rich queer history and Clapham suburbia.

Jeremiah is a Black British-Jamaican writer and performer based in Croydon. He’s a Barbican Young Poet alumni and former Roundhouse resident artist. His debut solo show Likkle Rum with Grandma is a journey of mortality, migration and identity. Jeremiah’s commissions include Nationwide Building Society, St Paul’s Cathedral, Barbican and The Poetry Society. He is also one half of The Sugar and Dread Podcast.

Gabriel is a writer and music producer from West Wales. He is a BYP alumni and has poems published in anthologies by Bad Betty and Mud press. Last year he released ‘Let Me Out My Room Please’, an album, pamphlet and live show featuring 19 of the most exciting current poets.
