Architecture on Stage

Aikin Villas, building designed by the architect Stephen Taylor

Over the past twenty years the architect Stephen Taylor has developed a reputation as one of the most highly regarded British architects of his generation. He joins us to discuss his practice's work.

Stephen Taylor has maintained a particular focus on the design of housing in situations of high density, realising projects in London and more recently Antwerp.

Taylor's work has been exhibited at the Canadian Centre for Architecture in a two-person show with Ryue Nishizawa and since 2007 he has served as a postgraduate studio leader at the CASS school of Art, Architecture and Design.

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks by the world's leading architects.
