Francesca Torzo

Architecture on Stage

A scaled down Loom Model of the architect Francesca Torzo's work.

Italian architect Francesca Torzo joins us to discuss her office's global projects, including the expansion of Belgium's Z33 museum in Hasselt.

Having previously collaborated with Peter Zumthor, the architect Francesca Torzo opened her own office in Genoa in 2008 and four years later won the competition for the expansion of the Z33 museum in Hasselt, Belgium, which is scheduled to open in 2020.  Other ongoing projects in her office include the Bishan Dance School in Huangshan and the Bamboo Library pavilion in Yangshuo.

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks by the world's leading architects.
