Guildhall School welcomes Michael Tilson Thomas to Milton Court Concert Hall for a special event as part of the School's Orchestral Artistry programme.

London Symphony Orchestra Conductor Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas was privileged to know and work directly with Igor Stravinsky. For this workshop-performance he directs Guildhall musicians, joined by some LSO players, in an exploration of the composer’s Symphonies of Wind Instruments and Symphony in Three Movements.

Orchestral Artistry is an exciting professional specialism for advanced instrumentalists seeking a career in orchestral playing. Part of the Guildhall Artist Masters programme and delivered in association with the London Symphony Orchestra.
