Too Late To Die Young (15)

two people on motorbike

A dynamic and original coming of age story set during a Chilean summer in 1990, where a community of families isolate themselves from the complexities of urban living.

Sofia (Demian Hernández) has been pulled in to self-imposed exile by her family. At sixteen, she is grappling with an uneasy relationship with her parents, burgeoning sexuality and an ultimate desire for escape back to the outside world.

Framed against the backdrop of developing democracy after the Pinochet dictatorship, Dominga Sotomayor Castillo explores the personal turmoil and confusion of youth in a thought-provoking and visceral way.
