Quatuor Bozzini

In Residence at Guildhall School

Quatuor Bozzini pictured holding instruments

A concert of new music for chamber ensemble performed by Quatuor Bozzini - an original voice in new, experimental and classical music.

The celebrated Canadian string quartet has nurtured a vastly diverse repertoire, commissioning close to two hundred pieces and premiering over three hundred works. A Quatuor Bozzini concert is an intensely shared experience, with meticulous and sensuous attention to detail.

In this concert Guildhall's Head of Chamber Music Matthew Jones and Guildhall Fellow Frederick Winterson will join the quartet to present world premieres by Guildhall composers Lara Agar, Sam Gooderham and Joshua Hathaway played side by side with works by Michael Finnissy, Naomi Pinnock and Canadian masters Ana Sokolovic and Christopher Butterfield.
