MONO with The Platinum Anniversary Orchestra + Alcest

Celebrating 20 Years of MONO

Mono wearing black and looking at the camera with light behind them

Experimental Japanese band MONO mark their twentieth anniversary with a European exclusive performance accompanied by the Platinum Anniversary Orchestra and supported by friends both old and new.

Firmly placed as a progressor within their field, MONO is like no other band – visceral, engrossing and showing no signs of decay after two decades spent creating waves of beautiful and expansive rock music. Listening to their music is like entering another world, a world of both harsh noise and delicate space.

On their most recent album, Nowhere Now Here – released earlier this year – they tread new ground as synths and vocals take centre stage momentarily, but their signature cascading guitars are not held back. Now, joined by The Platinum Anniversary Orchestra, and supported by their friends in the band Alcest, MONO will take the audience into their world – the majesty, the embrace, the delicacy and the noise. If there is one MONO performance to lose yourself in, then this is it.
