In Fabric (15)

British indie director, Peter Strickland, takes us back to the wonder of 70s kitsch with a horror-comedy about a killer dress

A strange high street department store offers the latest in women's fashion. Sheila (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) takes a fancy to dress, aptly described as 'artery red'. After wearing her new dress for the first time strange and increasingly horrifying events start to occur. The dress is passed from person to person with chilling consequences.

In Fabric is a pastiche of classic surrealist and suspense horror and Strickland's visceral style permeates every sequence of the film with striking and unforgettable images.
