In Residence at Guildhall School

Ensemble Bash percussion quartet spelling out the word 'Bash' with their bodies

Innovative British percussion quartet Ensemble Bash showcases an eclectic programme with Guildhall Percussion Group.

Formed in 1992, the British percussion quartet Ensemble Bash has a reputation as one of the world’s most innovative and groundbreaking chamber ensembles, mixing traditional music of West Africa with contemporary classical, jazz and music theatre.

As part of their Guildhall residency they’ll showcase Wali and Kumpo drumming, traditional Siwe Bell Music, Max Roach’s Rumble in the Jungle, plus works by Graham Fitkin, John Cage, Peter McGarr and recent Guildhall graduate Tom Gimson. Don’t miss what’s guaranteed to be a thrillingly loud evening of music.
