Dead Ringers Live

By Bill Dare

Dead Ringers

Step in the world of one of the most influential and critically acclaimed radio shows of the last 20 years as the legendary BBC Radio 4 programme is taken out of the studio and onto the stage.

Dead Ringers has seen some of the biggest names on comedy come through its ranks since it was created by comedy polymath Bill Dare, producer of Spitting Image. First aired on BBC Radio 4 in January 2000, it has poked fun at the great, the good and the ridiculous without censor.

These shows will star the Dead Ringers dream team - Jon Culshaw, Lewis MacLeod, Jan Ravens and Duncan Wisbey – cue cards in hand, in a show of sharp political humour. Expect special appearances from Donald Trump, Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Jeremy Vine and John Humphrys, given the Dead Ringers treatment.

With a mixture of classics such as Disney Takes Over The Today Show and their unique take on The Archers combined with new sketches, this is a show that promises to make audiences laugh – and cry – at the state of our political life in 2019.

Reviews

‘No politician, sports personality or celebrity is off limits. From Donald Trump to Tony Blair to Gordon Brown to Alan Bennett, there really isn’t anyone Culshaw can’t impersonate‘
‘[Her show]…..features portraits not only of our warbling prime minister, but of the glad-handing, steely-eyed Hillary Clinton... each is conjured up with hair’s-breadth accuracy.‘
