Weekend Lab: Transpose: The Future

CN Lester playing on the piano and singing

Practitioners CN Lester and Kate O'Donnell lead this intensive weekend workshop in response to their production of Transpose: The Future at the Barbican.

How do you represent the unrepresented?  How can you harness art for social change? In this Weekend Lab trans performers and curators Kate O’Donnell and CN Lester will offer tools and strategies for nurturing talent, opening up artistic spaces, and changing the mainstream narrative. In a fun and supportive environment, they will work through movement, play, music and storytelling to find new ways to own, present, and celebrate our unique voices.

As part of the Lab, you will receive a ticket to the evening performance of Transpose: The Future at the Barbican on Sat 8 Dec 2018.

This Lab is suitable for students, emerging or mid-career actors, directors and theatre-makers, ages 18+. Bursary places are available for this Lab.
