Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra

Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra

Junior Guildhall's flagship ensemble performs in Milton Court, featuring the Junior Guildhall Lutine Prize 2017 winner William Thomas.

William Thomas, winner of the Junior Guildhall Lutine Prize 2017, performs Edward Gregson’s dramatic Trumpet Concerto, bookended by works of two other English composers: Arnold Bax’s Tintagel, a tone poem inspired by the ancient Cornish castle, and Elgar’s popular Enigma Variations, colourful musical caricatures of his friends and acquaintances.

Promoted by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
