Luisa Gerstein is a musician who has played in the bands Landshapes and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Most recently she formed all-female singing collective - Deep Throat Choir. The project is driven by the simple desire to bring music making back to basic elements: voices and drums. Through the choir, Luisa’s output works with intricate vocal melody and well placed harmony. Through compounded vocal arrangement, the choir allows us to hear vocal arrangement both stripped back and bolstered at the same time. ‘Be Ok’ is out on Bella Union now.
