Contemporary Art from Canada
An exhibition of some of Canada’s most innovative contemporary artists, focussing on the urban landscape.
This was the first major showing in Britain of current art from Canada since a Tate Gallery exhibition in 1964.
The exhibition was selected by Carol Brown and Bruce Ferguson, assisted by Michael Regan and Jon Tupper, and organised by Barbican Art Gallery. Supported by the Department of External Affairs and International Trade, Government of Canada; the Canada Council; the Canadian High Commission, London and Visiting Arts.
