An exhibition exploring Canadian historical art and landscape painting
The wild and spectacular landscapes of Canada provided inspiration for artists Tom Thomson and the group of Seven, David Milne, Emily Carr and others whose paintings have become icons of Canadian culture.
The exhibition was selected by Michael Tooby and organised by Barbican Art Gallery. Supported by the Department of External Affairs and International Trade, Government of Canada; the Canada Council; the Canadian High Commission, London and Visiting Arts. Presented by The Daily Telegraph and Air Canada.
