Creative Careers

Behind the curtain

barbican backstage

Hear from the technicians, producers and stage designers who are shaping London theatre and presenting some of the best productions hitting the stage today

For the next Creative Careers session, we’re bringing together a group of people who are renowned for being different in the world of theatre, from designers to technicians. It’s their vision and expertise that has been responsible for some of the more forward-thinking productions of the last ten years.

We'll be unpicking the way that productions come together, looking at the myriad roles that are available in and around the theatre, and honing in on the routes into this often seemingly impenetrable world at early career stage.
