Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk (12A)

Parent & Baby Screening

A woman smiling on a video call

A first-hand perspective of life in Gaza, told through a series of video calls between filmmaker Sepideh Farsi and young Palestinian photojournalist Fatma Hassona.

Unable to enter Gaza, filmmaker Sepideh Farsi and photojournalist Fatma Hassona video-called every day for a year. These calls are often halting, interspersed with news reports that Farsi films and digital photographs that Hassona took herself.

The documentary is a vital record, bearing witness to everyday life, loss, and acts of resistance amid escalating violence in Gaza.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) provides guidance to audiences, to help them choose what’s right for them and avoid what’s not. For guidance, please click here and type the film title into the search bar.
