with Håkan Hardenberger

Top angle shot of the orchestra mid performance

Daniel Harding conducts the Mahler Chamber Orchestra in works by Haydn, Mark-Anthony Turnage and Beethoven, with virtuoso trumpet player Håkan Hardenberger as soloist.

Expect vibrant musical contrasts as Daniel Harding leads the Mahler Chamber Orchestra through a programme of Classical charm and modern colour. Håkan Hardenberger brings virtuosity to Haydn's Trumpet Concerto while Turnage’s Nocturne adds an atmospheric edge.

Beethoven’s spirited Symphony No 4 closes the evening with energy and brilliance. Harding and the orchestra reunite for a night of precision, invention and expressive power.
