Barbican announces Daniel Avery for special performance in November

Daniel Avery

Renowned British producer, composer and DJ Daniel Avery will bring his newly announced album Tremor to life in a special live performance, marking his Barbican debut on 8 November 2025.

Channelling every corner of Avery's sound, Tremor (Domino, 31 Oct 2025) is a bold and transportive body of work with its blend of euphoric shoegaze, submerged techno, ambient soundscape and industrial bliss. Though dramatically evolved, Tremor remains unmistakably Avery. On the album, Avery has welcomed an inspiring cast of collaborators including Alison Mosshart (The Kills), Walter Schreifels (Quicksand / Rival Schools), bdrmm, Julie Dawson (NewDad), yeule, Ellie, Art School Girlfriend, yunè pinku, and Cecile Believe. With each artist leaving an individual and indelible mark, collectively the record’s true power lies in the communal spirit at its core.

Speaking about the record, Daniel Avery says: “This is a record for the post-rave comedown kids, the guitar heads and anyone else who wants to come along for the ride. Everyone is welcome.”

Avery’s debut performance at the Barbican in 2025 will mark the live premiere of music from Tremor, offering audiences an immersive journey through fresh sonic soundscapes and the ever-evolving vision that has defined his work. Set for release on 31 October via Avery’s new label home at Domino, Tremor will be presented in a unique display during this special performance in the Barbican Hall. Tickets for Barbican Members & Patrons Pre-Sale available on Wednesday 23 July 2023 and Artist Pre-Sale on Wednesday 30 July 2025. Tickets for General On Sale will be available on Friday 1 August 2025.
