Shri Sriram playing a string instrument in front of a classical brass band

A dynamic collaboration like no other, fusing classical brass bands, jazz improvisations and south Asian music in a thrilling performance designed to explore new possibilities in music.

A dynamic & heady mix of South Asian music with jazz improvisations and a hard-hitting brass band, brought to you by award winning composer & multi-instrumentalist Shri Sriram. Collaborating with the best of British brass band, jazz and Asian musicians, Sriram is a master of creating new and collaborative ways of making music in powerful performances.

With origins as a tabla player and a penchant for discovering new types of music from rock to jazz to drum and bass, Sriram was inspired to make a unique sound fusing contemporary music with his Indian classical training.

‘It’s a powerful and innovative meeting of musical minds and imaginations, in which Indian classical and street music meets the British brass band tradition with jazz, drum ‘n’ bass and dub step thrown in for good measure’ - British Bandsman, Paul Hindmarsh.
