The Boy and The Heron (12A) [SUBTITLED]

A young boy looks at an old man in an old Japanese house.

Hayao Miyazaki's fantastical journey about a young boy who follows a talking crane into a magical world. Screened in Japanese with English subtitles.

Alternatively, English language dubbed screenings can be booked here.

Filmmaking hero Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Totoro, Spirited Away) presents his latest fantastical film, in which a young boy moves to the country side from the city, and is lead into a magical alternate world by a talking crane.

Touching on themes seen in his earlier works: unimaginably magical worlds, visits from strangers, and children processing grief, The Boy and The Heron will be adored equally by die-hard Miyazaki fans and those exploring Studio Ghibli's work for the first time.
