Our Town by Thornton Wilder

Guildhall School of Music & Drama

Our Town

Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer-prize-winning drama is set in the fictional American small town of Grover’s Corners; a story about mortality, told through the everyday lives of its citizens

The timeless three-act play asks questions about the meaning of love, life and death by exploring the relationship between George and Emily, whose childhood friendship blossoms into romance. John Haidar returns to direct his fourth play at Guildhall.

"Our Town has proved that instead of being only a play of the moment when it was first seen, it is a play of every moment" The Guardian

Presented by Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
