Young Visual Arts Group Exhibition

An online and free exhibition featuring works by 14 emerging artists, all members of our Young Visual Arts Group.

Working virtually together since November 2020, the group have made works that make sense of the world today and how we got here, bringing us together as we look forward to the future. The works presented include film, photography and textile alongside participatory community projects. Regenerate also includes writings from the artists and a public programme of events to further explore the ideas behind the exhibition.

With mentor support from artist Jordan McKenzie and guest facilitators, the group have explored the potential and pitfalls of digital spaces using this to inform their artistic and curatorial decisions. Regenerate is a digital-first exhibition; conceived of and created completely virtually, establishing a new way to engage with art and each other in a nurturing online space.

Young Visual Arts Group

Our Young Visual Arts Group is for anyone between 16 and 25 who loves the visual arts. It doesn’t matter if you know your Koons from your Kandinsky or your Modernism from your Materialism, this programme will broaden your artistic horizons in the context of a leading international arts centre.
