New Work in Clay in Britain

An exhibition looking at clay as a legitimate medium within the fine arts.

Showing some of the most innovative and challenging clay work in Britain, this major exhibition included works by 30 contemporary British artists.

Objects ranging from figurative work to installations were on display. There was a great diversity of scale, from just a few centimetres to several metres and many ceramic techniques could be seen used in new and exciting ways.
