Propaganda Session Five

The Rolling Calf

Rolling Calf performing live

Experience the future of experimental jazz with Elaine Mitchener’s experimental trio, part of Shabaka Hutchings’ Propaganda weekender.

Featuring saxophonist Jason Yarde and bassist Neil Charles and led by experimental vocalist Elaine Mitchener, The Rolling Calf is a power trio. They combine texts by revolutionary thinkers from the African diaspora with their own electroacoustic improvisations, accompanied by experimental films. In doing so, they attempt to forge a new path for the Black British avant-garde.

This event will start at the advertised start time and running times will be confirmed closer to the event
