Relaxed Screening: Rocketman (15)

Taron Egerton as Elton John singing at a piano

A musical fantasy about a fantastical man, Taron Egerton is electrifying as a young Sir Elton John.

Brought to screen by the BAFTA-nominated Dexter Fletcher fresh from Bohemian Rhapsody success, Rocketman uses John's iconic back catalogue of music to retell his formative years.

In a career best, Egerton embodies the star's highs and lows coming to stardom and into his sexuality, struggling with depression, substance abuse and acceptance. With supporting turns from Richard Madden (Bodyguard), Bryce Dallas Howard (Black Mirror) and Jamie Bell (Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool).
