Portico Quartet

+ Lawrence Pike

Portico Quartet performing live on stage

Hear new music from the Mercury-nominated quartet for the first time in this special headline show.

Sending out echoes of jazz, electronica, ambient music and minimalism, the group created their own singular, cinematic sound over the course of five studio albums, from the band’s 2007 breakthrough Knee-Deep in the North Sea, and the John Leckie produced Isla in 2010, to the most recent Untitled (AITAOA #2) last year. In tonight’s show the quartet premiere new music from their forthcoming album on Gondwana Records.

Support comes from percussionist and electronic musician Lawrence Pike (PVT, Szun Waves).
