Weekend Lab: Royal Shakespeare Company

Join Justin Audibert, director of The Taming of the Shrew, for an intensive weekend workshop.

By turning Shakespeare’s fierce, energetic comedy of gender and materialism on its head Justin offers a fresh perspective on the plays portrayal of hierarchy and power. Throughout this weekend, delve into his insights into this production and the choices behind it.
 
As part of the Lab, you will receive a ticket to The Taming of the Shrew at the Barbican on Friday 17 Jan at 7.15pm.
 
This Lab is suitable for students, emerging or mid-career actors, directors and theatre-makers, ages 18+. International participants are encouraged to apply. Some preparatory work in advance of the workshop will be required.

Bursary places are available for this Lab.
