City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra/Gražinytė-Tyla

An image of Migra Gražintė-Tyla conducting the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra with great vigour

City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Music Director Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla has announced she is expecting her second child in August 2020 and will therefore no longer be able to conduct this concert.

We are investigating the possibility of rescheduling this concert, and if that proves possible we will re-announce it in due course. We are delighted about Mirga’s wonderful news and wish her and her family all the very best.
