with Dirk Brossé

dirk brosse

Spectacular cinematic scores from some of the biggest and most celebrated movies of all time – all originally recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.

The most iconic films are unimaginable without their soundtracks, and the LSO’s special sound has played a fundamental role in some of the greatest blockbusters and award-winning pictures. From the stirring trumpet fanfares of Superman to the translucent textures that accompany The Shape of Water, this concert shines a light on cinema’s musical alchemy which brings adventures, battles, superheroes, love stories and so much more to gripping life.

The final instalment in a series of concerts celebrating film scores recorded by the LSO over the decades. Featuring music by John Williams, James Horner, George Fenton, Alexandre Desplat and Patrick Doyle, from films including Superman, Braveheart, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, The Shape of Water and Star Wars.
