Blonde Redhead

featuring the Tiffin Youth Choir

Kazu Makino and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace are swept by an imaginary wind against a white background

Employing dreamy melodies, ASMR features and angelic voices from the Tiffin Youth Choir, Blonde Redhead perform songs from their forthcoming album Shadow of the Guest, and beyond.

The American alternative rock band’s newest album, Shadow of the Guest is a dreamy, slightly uncanny reimagining of their critically acclaimed 2023 album, Sit Down for Dinner. Enlisting the Tiffin Youth Choir, the performance offers newly expanded versions of songs, including, Before (Choir Version), a mariachi-inspired rendition of the Rick and Morty-featured internet hit For The Damaged Coda, and a series of ambient ASMR reworks. It is a surreal companion piece to Sit Down for Dinner exploring themes of innocence, nostalgia, and sonic curiosity.

"Sit Down for Dinner is a proudly simple and deeply felt record, tying off the end of the group’s third decade with unobtrusive confidence and lilting, melodic dream pop balladry.” — Bandcamp

“The warmest and most welcoming record in the band’s catalog.” — Pitchfork on Sit Down for Dinner
