The international dance festival returns this year with an exhilarating programme of events across the centre.
See two UK premieres in dance in a double bill in The Pit, as Stockholm-based Australian artist and Cullberg dancer Lilian Steiner presents Siren Dance, a mesmerising exploration of power and transformation, and Spanish flamenco dancer María del Mar Suárez (La Chachi) provides a playful take on the Taranto form in Random Taranto.
Gesualdo's Responsories for Holy Week are reimagined through an a cappella performance by Les Arts Florissants choreographed by Amala Dianor and his dance company in the Hall.
And, in our cinema, see a collection of short films programmed by international curators HSEIH I-Hsuan and Emily Shin-Jie Lee, which showcases international work with movement at its heart.
