Ustad Noor Bakhsh + Jaubi

and Amrit Kaur

Image of Ustaad Noor Bakhsh playing his Benju

Ustad Noor Bakhsh brings his electric Benju and a sound steeped in the deep-rooted traditions of Baloch music, joined by Amrit Kaur and Lahore’s acclaimed, genre-defying instrumental quartet Jaubi.

Join Ustad Noor Bakhsh, the revered Benju player whose deeply expressive style channels the rhythms of the Makran coast, the songs of birds, and the spirit of centuries-old traditions, for a night of music that moves effortlessly between folk, classical and improvisation, creating a sound that’s both rooted and otherworldly. Headlining with him are Jaubi, instrumentalists from Lahore, blending South Asian classical with jazz, funk and hip-hop. Amrit Kaur also fuses the raw emotion of soul with Punjabi folk and Sarangi, weaving stories of identity and heritage with striking honesty.

Together, the three music artists offer a richly textured evening shaped by folk traditions, their individual musical journeys, driven by bold improvisation and live energy.
