The Last Journey (PG)

Three men sit in a yellow car, smiling

This humorous and heart-breaking documentary captures a son's love for his 80-year-old father, as they road trip through France.

Hoping to rekindle his father's zest for life, Filip Hammar and his best friend Fredrik Wikingsson drive him to the French coastal town where they used to spend their holidays.

As they journey through Europe and down to the Mediterranean, Filip must come to grips with the indignities that aging brings and what time makes inevitable.

Beautiful, heart-breaking and ultimately optimistic this is long time creative partners' Hammar and Wikingsson's first feature-length film.
