Superman (12A) (AD)

This summer's biggest blockbuster shoots us into a story in which Superman (David Corenswet) reconciles his otherworldly heritage with his human upbringing.

The embodiment of truth, justice and the American way he is now perceived as old-fashioned and must balance his desire to find his place in the world with his inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.

In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe, directing from his own screenplay which balances epic action with humour and heart. Plus, the highly anticipated live-action appearance of Krypto the Superdog.

David Corenswet portrays Superman.
