A young drag artist on stage

A drag artist navigates a toxic relationship and a distant mother in this sombre yet joyous picture.

Set in Montreal’s vibrant drag scene, a young gay artist (Théodore Pellerin) navigates the world of drag, where he transforms nightly into the dazzling Glory Gore. Offstage, Simon wrestles with insecurity and a fraught romance with fellow performer Olivier (Félix Maritaud).

On top of that, a tense visit from his estranged mother Claire (Anne-Marie Cadieux) sends him into a turbulent emotional journey.

In their third collaboration, director Sophie Dupuis and rising Canadian star Pellerin evoke conflicted feelings and explore abuse and self-love beneath its colourful surface.
