Step into a world of wonder with storyteller Chitra Soundar as she shares original and traditional tales from across India in a joyful, interactive session for children and their families.

Journey to a farm in Rajasthan and a giant pumpkin in the Western Ghats with award-winning author and storyteller Chitra Soundar in this enchanting free session. Through a mix of original and traditional Indian tales, Chitra invites young audiences and their grown-ups to join her on a storytelling journey full of imagination, humour and heart. 

Chitra Soundar is an internationally celebrated award-winning writer of children’s books, poet, playwright and performer whose stories draw inspiration from her Indian heritage and cultures around the world. Chitra frequently visits schools, libraries and presents at national and international literary festivals.
