Mehazabien Chowdhury provides a striking performance in this fierce drama about an expectant mother whose life spins out of control. Followed by a ScreenTalk with director Shankha Das Gupta

Despite hardships Maloti (Mehazabien Chowdhury) and her husband Polash have found solace in their loving relationship. In what should be the happiest of times celebrating their third wedding anniversary and expecting their first baby tragedy strikes. 

Already in shock and grieving Maloti must now battle against authorities, her in-laws and society to prove her husband's accidental death. 

This is the UK premiere of Dear Maloti, fresh from festival presentations around the world.
