Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra & Guildhall Ellingtonian Band

A jazz orchestra on stage with an audience

Experience the next generation of jazz as the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra takes the stage alongside the Guildhall Ellingtonian Band.

Led by acclaimed trumpeter and Juilliard faculty member Tatum Greenblatt, this ensemble unites the most gifted young musicians from the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. These rising stars bring a level of musicianship that rivals seasoned professionals. Under Greenblatt’s expert direction, these young artists honour jazz’s rich traditions while bringing fresh energy to the stage, shaping the sound of tomorrow.

The Guildhall Ellingtonian Band open the show with a programme of Duke Ellington. Their passion and precision promise an unforgettable night of swinging rhythms, inspired improvisation, dynamic solos and uplifting jazz energy.

The ensembles will also be joined very special guests Alexa Tarantino and Vincent Gardner from the renowned Jazz at Lincoln Centre Orchestra.
