Artizine: Forever Playground

Suitable for all ages, this dynamic, hands-on workshop invites participants to collaboratively construct an imaginary playground made entirely from paper—ready to be built, dismantled, and reimagined. Designed to spark creativity and connection between families, it encourages a radical rethinking of the Barbican’s public spaces.

Ioana Simion is a visual artist and arts educator based in East London. Working under the artistic identity of Artizine UK, she runs creative workshops that focus on handmade zines for artistic minds. Her socially engaged practice positions craft as a powerful tool for community-building and social change.
