Fonseca

Fonseca takes a journey to his tropical roots with new album 'TROPICALIA' in which he explores the musical influences that are part of his sound.

The 8-time Latin GRAMMY winner releases his new album TROPICALIA, an extraordinary production that pays tribute to his tropical roots and influences that have inspired him throughout his career and are part of his unique sound. The dynamic production features 11 tracks and collaborations with Latin American artists like Juan Luis Guerra, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Chucho Valdés, Alex Cuba, and Grupo Niche.

In TROPICALIA each song is a world apart, the tracks were each recorded and produced in a different way, with engineers of different nationalities, as well as musicians and composers from Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

'Tropicalia is my interpretation of our tropical essence, our Latin essence. We are a mix of cultures, of sounds, of accents and therefore a mix of our own ‘Tropicalismo’' says Fonseca
