Acclaimed London singer-songwriter Charlie Cunningham makes his Hall debut, performing new music from his highly anticipated fourth album, In Light.

An under-the-radar success story, Cunningham blends piano and nylon-string guitar to produce melancholic yet rhythmically driven sound.

Having recently spent several years  living in Seville, he immersed himself in Flamenco music and focused intensely on his guitar playing; enriching his song-writing process. Charlie has since released three albums and four EPs which have garnered over half a billion streams.

His new single, Happening Lately, produced by Luke Smith (Keaton Henson, Foals, Everything Everything), pairs his intricate guitar work with poignant lyrics that offer a glimpse into his next steps.

Opening the show is Cerys Hafana, a Welsh triple harpist and composer who transforms traditional music to explore creative possibilities using archival material, folk songs, sounds and electronic processing alongside original compositions.

This performance may contain strobe & haze.
