Founded in 1965 the Printmakers Council aims to promote the art of printmaking and the work of contemporary printmakers nationally.
This exhibition is titled 'Surface Challenge' and we are showing work from our members that thoroughly explores the versatility of mark making using all manner of printmaking techniques. With this comprehensive theme the exhibition will include all manner of subject matter from figurative through to the abstract. The show is an exciting demonstration of the printmakers art. Please note that the library is closed on Sundays.
The Barbican Libraries are located on Level 2 within the Barbican. They can be accessed from the main building via stairs or lifts from Level G or via Frobisher Crescent from the highwalks.
