Emma Stone is brought back to life and has to learn how to exist in Victorian society, in Yorgos Lanthimos' absurdist black comedy based on the work by Alasdair Gray.

Yorgos Lanthimos, acclaimed absurdist director (The Lobster, The Favourite) presents his latest feat: an absurdist black comedy. 

Poor Things is an adaptation of the novel by Scottish author Alasdair Gray, about a young woman (Emma Stone) brought back to life by a doctor (Willem Dafoe), who has to relearn how to exist within Victorian society.

A stunning film starring Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott, and Jerrod Carmichael. 

The film releases to the UK public on Friday 12 January 2024, but we are delighted to offer these special screenings to our audience ahead of the general release. 

We are also delighted to host an exhibition of the costumes from the film alongside these screenings.
