Lucinda Chua & Galya Bisengalieva with London Contemporary Orchestra

Lucinda Chua & Gayla Bisengalieva stand in landscape and black and white

Singer & musician Lucinda Chua performs music from her debut album YIAN and new EP Reclaiming The Rose with Kazakh composer & violinist Galya Bisengalieva performing her latest album Polygon.

South London-based singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Lucinda Chua writes intimate and enchanting ambient pop songs primarily using her voice, a cello and an array of effects units. Chua has toured with Stars of the Lid and FKA twigs. She released YIAN in 2023 on 4AD to critical acclaim.

Having shrugged off generic boundaries Galya Bisengalieva is an artist who defies categorisation. The Kazakh composer, producer and violinist has earned a distinctive place in new music thanks to her originality and virtuosity. Galya released her debut album Aralkum in 2020 followed by Polygon in 2023 both to great critical acclaim.

Tonight both artists perform with the London Contemporary Orchestra.
