Love Lies Bleeding (15) + ScreenTalk with director/co-writer Rose Glass

New Release ScreenTalk

Two women in gym clothes sit on the floor of a boxing ring, holding hands.

We are delighted to have director Rose Glass (Saint Maud) for a screening and ScreenTalk on her latest film: a muscle-driven romantic thriller with Kristen Stewart.

Premiering at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, Rose Glass' latest feat is a sexy, gritty revenge story is matched with a killer cast and soundtrack.

Set in 1989, Love Lies Bleeding chronicles the relationship between a reclusive gym manager (Stewart) and an ambitious bodybuilder. In a role that allows her to flourish in ways we haven't yet seen, Kristen Stewart is electrifying in this steamy, punchy nostalgic thriller.

This is the second feature film by Rose Glass, whose debut socially in-depth chilling Saint Maude haunted audiences in 2021.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, co-writer Weronika Tofilska is no longer able to participate in the ScreenTalk.
