Rhyme Time + The Gruffalo (U)

Family Film Week

The Gruffalo holds a mouse by by his tail.

We’re delighted to be collaborating with the Barbican Library for our first ever in-cinema Rhyme Time, and a screening of the classic, The Gruffalo.

Come along at 10am for a fun, relaxed session of singing, clapping and chatting along to the best nursery rhymes and story books – all led by Adenike Johnson, the Barbican’s fantabulous children’s librarian! And after that, settle back into your cinema seat for a special anniversary screening of the animated version of The Gruffalo – a gorgeous treat on the big screen.

Afterwards, why not visit the Barbican Children’s Library on level 2 of the main Barbican Centre? It’s a great place to get young noses stuck into a books!

And after the screening please do drop by the café as Tara Franks - cellist, singer and founder of award winning family project Tots Tunes – will be with us from 11-11.30am for some post-film music.

Please note – café capacity is limited and fire exits must be kept clear, so spaces are first come first served.

Please note: This screening is for families to attend as a group. Adults can only enter auditorium if they are bringing a child. Children can only attend if accompanied by an adult.
